How to Save Korean Dishes You Want to Try Again in K-Bap

You find a dish you want to try, then forget its name by the next meal. K-Bap’s Saved list gives you a place to keep dish entries and reopen their information later.

Use it for foods you want to remember, whether you are planning another meal during a trip or getting to know restaurants near home. Here is the basic save-and-return routine.

Save the dish entry

Open the dish’s information page and tap the star used to save it. Saving requires an account: if you are browsing as a guest, sign in when prompted, then return to the dish and check that it has been saved.

Look for the save confirmation before leaving the page. If saving fails, do not assume the entry has been added just because you tapped the star.

Start with a dish entry that matches the food you mean. A restaurant’s special name or variation may differ from the general entry. If you are still working out the menu name, the menu-reading guide explains how to compare a recognized item with the original menu.

Find it again in Profile → Saved

Open Profile, then Saved. Tap a dish in the list to return to its information.

Before your next meal, use this list to choose a food you want to look for on the menu. Reopening a saved dish does not place an order or confirm that a nearby restaurant serves it.

If the list looks empty, first check whether a filter is selected. Choose All to see the list without a risk filter. Then check that the dish was successfully saved. An empty filtered view and a list with no saved entries are different situations.

Keep restaurant details separately

A saved item is a dish entry. It is not a record of a particular restaurant, the menu page you photographed, or the exact meal you ordered.

For example, saving a general dish can help you remember its name, but it will not tell you which branch served the version you liked. In your own notes or map app, keep the restaurant name and location, the full menu name, and any option you want to ask for again. These are suggestions for your own records, not extra fields in K-Bap’s Saved list.

On a return visit, compare those details with the restaurant’s current menu. A familiar dish name does not settle today’s options or ingredients. For that conversation, see how to check ingredient information before ordering.

Remove entries you no longer need

Tap a saved dish’s marked star again to remove it from Saved. Keeping the list focused can make it easier to find the foods you still want to try.

A useful habit is to review the list before choosing your next meal: reopen one dish, decide whether it still interests you, and keep the restaurant-specific details alongside your own plans.
