How to Find a Previous Food Order in K-Bap
You remember enjoying a meal but cannot remember the dish’s name. If K-Bap saved the order record, you can find it under Profile → My Foods → Ordered. Open the entry to review the recorded dishes and quantities, with a menu photo and location information when available.
This is your record in the app. It is not a restaurant receipt or confirmation that an order was accepted, paid for, or delivered.
Find the right entry
Sign in to the account you used for the meal, open Profile, then choose My Foods. Select the Ordered tab. The separate Scanned tab is not the order list.
Look for the date and any place information attached to the entry. If no place is recorded, use the date to narrow your search rather than assuming that a familiar thumbnail identifies the restaurant. Open an entry to see its dishes and quantities; scroll further down the list if the meal is older.
For example, if you remember having two dishes on Tuesday, use the date and item list together to check that you have found the right meal. This is an illustrative way to search your history, not a record of a meal we have tested.
Read the details as a record of that selection
The detail screen shows the date and a list of dishes with quantities. It can also show a location, price information, and the original scanned menu image when those details are available. Tap the menu image to open a larger view.
Dish names can appear in your app language when a translated name is available; otherwise, an item can retain its Korean menu name. A Korean name in an otherwise English history screen does not necessarily mean your language setting has changed.
Some item rows open the dish’s information page. An item without an available food-detail entry may not open, even though it appears in your record. The thumbnail can also be a catalog photo or a photo you added; it is not necessarily a photograph of the meal served to you.
Use any recorded prices to remember that selection. Confirm today’s price, portions, and availability with the restaurant before requesting the same meal again.
Why an order or item might be missing
The order history is created from the menu-scan order flow when you tap Done on the order card. Merely scanning a menu or opening the card is not the same as saving an order record.
There are also limits to what is saved:
- Items that were not matched to a food entry are excluded from the saved order. If every selected item was unmatched, there may be no order record.
- Saving can fail without preventing the app’s completion screen from appearing. Seeing that screen alone does not prove the record was saved.
- A record can lack location information or a recognized price. Missing details do not necessarily mean the entire record is missing.
First check that you are in the correct account and the Ordered tab. If the list shows a loading error, use its retry control. An empty list and an error message are different situations; neither is a reason to repeat an order with the restaurant.
Use history and Saved for different purposes
Ordered helps you revisit a recorded selection from a particular date. Saved keeps dish entries you chose to bookmark, including foods you have not ordered. Our guide to saving Korean dishes explains that separate list.
On a repeat visit, use the old record as a reminder, then compare it with the current menu. To prepare a new card to show staff, follow how to show your food order in Korean. Opening an old record does not submit a new order.
